On Monday, Drecom started streaming a brand-new teaser for the 3D dungeon RPG Wizardry Variants Daphne. Early in 2023, the mobile game will be made available on iOS and Android.
As Drecom explains, the tale is:
- The Abyss opens every 100 years.
The continent is being consumed by a deadly curse. a Warlock who craved Death, ate both humans and animals, and engulfed the whole globe in anguish.
- The Abyss has been sealed by the line of kings for countless years.
- But now that the monarch has disappeared, death is engulfing the globe, one moment at a time.
- Resistance by itself has no purpose. There is nothing left except death.
The game’s first announcement by Drecom had the working title Wizardry VA.
The game will continue to offer the iconic 3D first-person dungeon exploration of the franchise while also introducing new elements that allow players to “create their own experience.” The game will be made available globally via Drecom.
In December 2021, the Wizardry: The Five Ordeals spin-off game was remade by 59 Studio and Game*Spark Publishing and made available for Early Access on Steam.

The “Wizardry” trademark has been acquired by Drecom together with copyrights for “Wizardry 6,” “Wizardry 7,” “Wizardry 8,” and “Wizardry Gold.”
