Viz Media Releases Record of Ragnarok Season 1 on BD on April 4
Record of Ragnarok (Shmatsu no Walküre) by Shinya Umemura, Ajichika, and Takumi Fukui is an anime that will debut on Blu-ray Disc on April 4 according to a statement made on Tuesday by Viz Media. An announcement trailer for the home video release was aired by Viz Media.
In June 2021, Netflix exclusively introduced the first season to the globe. In October 2021, the animation then had its broadcast debut in Japan. According to Warner Bros. Japan, the anime is

All of the world’s gods convene in heaven once every 1,000 years for the “Conference of Mankind Survival.”

Onegai My Melody Y & Ai, Gekijban PriPara: Minna de Kagayake! The inaugural season at Graphinica was directed by Kirarin Star Live. The series’ composition was handled by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Bungo Stray Dogs Wan!, By the Grace of the Gods). The characters were created by Masaki Sat, while the soundtrack was created by Yasuharu Takanashi (Fairy Tail, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations).
Maximum “Kamigami,” the opening theme song, was performed by The Hormone. SymaG (Shenen Ashibe GO!, Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters) The closing theme song, “Fukahi,” was sung by Goma-chan and Bakutsuri Bar Hunter (Inevitable).
The anime’s second season, Record of Ragnarok II, will premiere on Netflix on January 26. Later in 2023, the last five episodes will air.
In November 2017, the Shmatsu no Walküre manga made its debut in Comic Zenon. While Ajichika creates the art, Umemura writes the tale. Composition credit goes to Fukui.
In Comic Zenon, the Ryo Fu H Sen Hishden (The Legend of Lu Bu Fengxiang The Flying General) spinoff debuted in October 2019 and ran until its seventh volume in December 2022.
