
Tsurune TV Anime Aims Its Shot in New Season 2
The Tsurune TV anime adaptation, which had its theatrical debut in Japan earlier this year with a compilation of the first season, will return on January 4 with Tsurune: The Linking Shot. In addition to the two returning major cast members, Yuto Uemura as Minato Narumiya and Kensho Ono as Shu Fujiwara, and the addition of Jun Fukuyama to the series as Eisuke Nikaido, Takuya Yamamura, who directed the first season of Tsurune and the film, returns for the second at Kyoto Animation.
The TV anime Tsurune: The Linking Shot will get a new visual and trailer for its January 4 premiere.
In English-speaking nations, HIDIVE will broadcast the second season as it airs. From October 22, 2018, through January 21, 2019, Tsurune’s first season was broadcast on Crunchyroll, who characterises the show as follows:
As soon as Narumiya Minato enrols at Prefectural Kazemai High School, Tommy-sensei, the club’s adviser, extends an invitation for him to join the archery team. Takehaya Seiya and Yamanouchi Ryohei, two of his boyhood buddies, quickly decide to participate, but Minato is first apprehensive. Minato is one of the few students with archery expertise, so Tommy-sensei asks him to demonstrate. Minato complies, but his arrow misses the mark. It becomes apparent that Minato has a serious archery malfunction.
