
Tokyo Revengers Manga Slips Past 70 Million Copies Printed
The time-traveling exploits of Takemichi as he navigates the Tokyo subway come to a close on January 17 with the publication of the manga’s last volume in Japan, which is very well-liked. Kodansha disclosed the 31st volume’s publication information along with the fact that 70 million physical copies of the series had been manufactured and sold (digitally).
The latest update the publisher provided in July verified that the series had sold 65 million copies worldwide, with 7 million of them outside of Japan and 58 million within Japan. Kodansha did not indicate whether these statistics were international or local in Japan.
As a result, the Tokyo Revengers manga has reached the same level of sales as JUJUTSU KAISEN’s August figures and is getting very near to Fairy Tail’s lifetime print number.
Tokyo Revengers Manga Has Sold Over 65 Million Copies Globally
From April to September 2021, the first season of Crunchyroll’s Tokyo Revengers TV anime was shown. Tokyo Revengers Christmas Showdown Arc, the second season, will be available for streaming on Disney+ services beginning in January.
