The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Northern War
A smartphone game based on Tatsunoko Pro’s television anime adaptation of Nihon Falcom’s The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel (Eiy Densetsu Sen no Kiseki) game series, The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki Northern War, was revealed by Taiwanese game developer UserJoy on Friday.
The smartphone game, which will debut the following year, will have a brand-new narrative and characters in addition to those from the anime and game series.
On January 6 at 10:00 p.m., the series will make its streaming service debut. On January 8 at 11:30 p.m. (9:30 a.m. EST), the programme will then debut on the Tokyo MX channel. It will also air on AT-X and BS 12. Outside of Japan, Crunchyroll will broadcast the animation.

The anime was first touted as a joint worldwide endeavour by the content fund SYOU, Funimation, Taiwanese game developer UserJoy (who also developed Falcom’s works in Asia outside of Japan), and anime planning and production studio NADA.
The anime will feature a tale that is centred in the western half of the Zemurian continent, unlike the original game series, which focused on Rean Schwarzer’s experiences at the military college in the Erebonian Empire.
