Tenchi Muyo! GXP Project Gets New Paradise Shidō-hen Anime

Tenchi Muyo! GXP Project Gets New

Tenchi Muyo GXP – Paradise Shid-hen is the name of the next Tenchi Muyo GXP anime that the media firm EXNOA revealed on Friday (Paradise Begins Arc). The statement made no mention of the anime’s format or release date. (The new anime is described as a “series” on the Comic Natalie website, despite the fact that the anime’s website does not mention it as such.) Masaki Kajishima, the originator of the Tenchi Muyo! series and character designer, created the illustration below for the next anime.

Hideki Shirane, who wrote the screenplays for Tenchi Muyo GXP, Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar, and the fourth and fifth Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki OVA series, is responsible for writing and overseeing the scripts for the new project. Kajishima is listed as the project’s supervising director.

A variation of the Tenchi Muyo is Tenchi Muyo GXP.

  • In contrast to earlier works like Tenchi Universe and Tenchi in Tokyo, which are spinoffs of the OVAs and centred on the franchise’s main cast, Ryo Ohki OVAs include a variety of characters.
  • In 2002, Tenchi Muyo GXP debuted as a 26-episode television anime.
  • In 2003, Kajishima launched a series of light novels based on the series.
  • In June 2018, the 18th and most recent volume was sent out.

The latest fourth and fifth Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki OVA series are linked to the new Tenchi Muyo GXP – Paradise Shid-hen anime, which introduces Seina Yamada in a new tale before the “Paradise War” incident in the narrative.

I’m Tenchi Muyo! The name of the first 1992 OVA series that launched a protracted cross-media franchise with a tonne of sequels and spinoffs is Ryo Ohki. Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki Dai-2-Ki (Second Season), Tenchi Muyo! Omatsuri Zenjitsu no Yoru! (Tenchi Muyo! The Night Before The Carnival), and Tenchi Muyo! sequels to Ryo Ohki Dai-3-Ki (Third Season).

I’m Tenchi Muyo! The fourth OAV, Ryo Ohki Dai-4-Ki (Fourth Season), made its premiere in 2016 as the series’ first episode in 11 years since the third OAV’s last episode appeared in 2005. Six episodes from the anime’s fifth season had their home media debuts between February and May 2021.

The two firms now jointly hold Tenchi Muyo!, among other brands, when the anime production studio AIC reached a deal to transfer some of its existing copyrights to Toei Agency in April 2021.
