Spy x Family: Why Fiona Frost Would Be a Terrible Mother

Yor is so adamant on being replaced as Loid’s wife and Anya’s mother by Fiona Frost. But what would the scenario really be like?

Spy x Family: Why Fiona Frost Would Be a Terrible Mother

Fiona Frost, sometimes known as Nightfall, is a lady with only one goal in life: to wed Loid Forger in lieu of Yor and raise Anya as her own child. She has already shown that she is prepared to use any strategy to accomplish this.

However, the situation’s actuality can be considerably grimmer than anticipated. If Fiona had been Anya’s mother instead of Yor, it would have been very detrimental, and there are several reasons why she would be awful in this position.

Fiona's Methods of Raising a Child Aren't Ideal

Spy x Family episode 21 of the series indicated early on that Fiona would have transformed Anya into a Stella-earning machine if she had been in Yor’s position. Anya would have to follow a rigid routine devoid of pleasure, which would not be healthy for her general wellbeing. Anya would abhor her new existence and would even attempt to flee her house. It would be terrible for everyone concerned, including Loid. To Fiona’s dismay, he would be angry with her for treating a kid in that manner and would never develop feelings for her.

Even though Anya would do well in her studies and academic achievements, she would be terrified and pushed into a shell that would hide all of her good qualities. She would behave more like a machine than a person, which wouldn’t be good for the vivacious youngster. Although Fiona was trained to deny her emotions and real self in order to become a spy, she shouldn’t be imparting such values to a young kid. Fiona has to understand this and leave her own thoughts behind since doing so would not be healthy at all.

Yor’s replacement as Loid’s wife is clearly Fiona’s goal, as evidenced by the fact that she calls Yor by her maiden name, Yor Briar, rather than Yor Forger. To force Yor to leave on her own initiative, she has gone to great lengths, including undermining her accomplishments and putting distance between her and Loid. Fiona is more than prepared to fabricate information and tell lies in order to further her objectives.

Overall, Fiona’s ambition appears to be merely surface-level, but given the lengths to which she is prepared to go, the situation is much graver and more serious than first believed. Her relationship is utterly one-sided, and since she is the only one making an effort, nothing positive can ever result from it.
