In a TikTok video posted by joxianna (JoXianna Aika), two cosplayers at Anime Festival Asia 2022 are seen dancing as gender-flipped versions of Ewen and Emile to Justin Bieber’s “Baby.” The two danced flawlessly, even included an extra-smooth body wave, and finished with a sweet fist bump and peace sign. Though the video emanates the wild energy that convinces many fans that this should be canon, the anime adaptation never depicts what the two of them do in their leisure time.
