Sadachika, a samurai from the Edo era who is crazy with ukiyo-e art, is the main character of the manga. Sadachika’s father sends him to one of the most sought-after courtesans in the Yoshiwara red light district, the high-ranking tay Murasaki, in an attempt to educate him how to seduce women. When Sadachika first meets Murasaki, he is apprehensive, but Sadachika’s home cooking ultimately sparks the beginning of their romance.
In November 2021, Okimoto published the manga in Kodansha’s Morning magazine.
