Rokudō no Onna-tachi Manga Gets TV Anime in April
A television anime adaptation of Yji Nakamura’s Rokud no Onna-tachi manga will debut in April on the Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS Asahi stations.

The animation at Satelight is being directed by Keiya Sait (Baki), while the screenplay for the series are being handled by Yichir Momose (So I’m a Spider, So What?, Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer). The characters are created by Shin’ya Segawa (Pastel Memories). Sub-character design is being handled by Hideaki Onishi, while mechanical designs are being handled by Hiroyuki Taiga (Transformers: Robots in Disguise, FUUTO PI). Prop design is attributed to Yasuyoshi Uetsu (Triage X) and Tomoaki Chishima.
The colour key artist is Yoshimi Kawakami (Fairy Tail), and the art director is Kenichi Tajiri (The story of misfits). The compositing director of photography is Yjir Yamane (Bodacious Space Pirates), and the editor is Shji Matsumoto (Girly Air Force). The sound director is Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!Hiroshi !’s Yamamoto.
Between June 2016 and April 2021, Nakamura published the manga in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shnen Champion magazine. The manga’s 26th and final collected book volume was released by Akita Shoten in June 2021.
The manga centres on Tsuke Rokudo, a shy high school student who is victimised by bullies.
He is given a scroll by his deceased grandpa, which leaves a mark on his forehead.
Due to the mark’s effects, Ranna Himawari, a juvenile offender, fell in love with him.
