The Octopath Traveler II sequel’s new trailer, which Square Enix started streaming on Friday, is for the role-playing game. Castti the Apothecary and Ochette the Hunter, two of the eight primary characters, are briefly introduced in the video.

Eight new characters will appear in the RPG in the Solistian country. There will be “Crossed Paths” in the upcoming game, which are tales with two main protagonists. Castti and Ochette’s tale is described by Square Enix as follows:
When Castti and Ochette arrive in the bustling settlement of Cropdale, they learn that recent hunting conditions have not been favourable. The two then go far into the forest to look into it.
On February 24, the game will go live on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC through Steam.
The first Octopath Traveler game for the Nintendo Switch was released in July 2018 around the globe. After that, the game was released in June 2019 on PC through Steam and in April 2020 on Stadia. Octopath Traveler has sold over 3 million copies globally. Octopath Traveler was created by the same team that created Bravely Default.
The prequel mobile RPG Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent, which was released on July 27 worldwide for iOS and Android devices and is set on the same continent as the original game, Orsterra, in October 2020.
