According to Muse Asia, the anime is
The Holy Kingdom of Dinese’s city of Terrane. People of many backgrounds congregate in this metropolis. Aristocrats, priests, beastmen, adventurers looking to make a fortune, astute businessmen, minstrels who sing and dance… The city’s maze-like layout plus the fact that it was a melting pot of many ethnicities and professions gave rise to the moniker “Labyrinth City.” This city is also home to Nick, a light fighter who was duped by his lover and expelled from his party, the “Countless Art of Battle.”
He visited a nearby tavern since he was sick of everything. The poor meal, the jovial explorers nearby, the quiet diners at his table, the cold beverages… He yells out in frustration as his tablemates inadvertently follow him.
“I can’t possibly trust people!”
As he let out a frustrated yell, he was surprised to hear his fellow diners exclaim the same thing at precisely the same moment. These four individuals, each of whom has a wound to lick, are about to embark on a brand-new journey.
Stars in the anime:
- Sayaka Kikuchi plays Curran
- Sayumi Watabe plays Nick

The show’s opening theme song, “Glorious World,” is also performed by Toki, while the show’s closing theme, “Never Fear,” is sung by Mao Abe.

The anime is being directed by Itsuki Imazaki (Hensuki, Magical Somera-chan, Ai Mai Mi), with animation assistance from Seven, at Geek Toys. The character designer and principal animator is Hiroo Nagao (Battle Athletes Victory ReSTART!, My Wife is the Student Council President+!). The soundtrack is being created by Ry Takahashi (Arifureta – From Commonplace to World’s Strongest, Sing a Bit of Harmony, Sk8 the Infinity).
