The manga, which is the author’s debut serialisation work, has been published in print for six volumes by Media Factory’s MF Comics brand and is now being serialised on Comic Smart’s Ganma! website. A combined 2 million copies of the print and digital versions have been distributed.

On September 24, 2022, during the Aniplex Online Fest 2022 gathering, the TV anime adaptation project was revealed. Director at Madhouse is Morio Asaka (Chihayafuru), with character designer Kunihiko Hamada and series composer Yasuhiro Nakanishi (KAGUYA-SAMA: LOVE IS WAR) (Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card). The main heroine Akane Kinoshita is portrayed by Inori Minase (Rem in Re:ZERO Starting Life in Another World), while the male protagonist Akito Yamada is voiced by Koki Uchiyama (Kelvin in Black Summoner).
