Live-Action ‘If My Favorite Pop Idol Made it to the Budokan, I Would Die’ Film Opens on May 12
The live-action adaptation of If My Favorite Pop Idol Made It to the Budokan, I Would Die (Oshi ga Budokan Ittekuretara Shinu), by Auri Hirao, will debut on May 12, according to the website for the project. To commemorate Maina’s birthday on January 18, the project’s official Twitter account also published a still of the lead character Eripiyo:


Sayuri Matsumura will return to the television series to play the major character of Eripiyo. Riho Nakamura, MOMO, KANO, SOYO, GUMI, Miu Wada, Himena Irei, Ydai Toyoda, and Takao Janbo are among the other cast members who will be returning.
In addition, Kentaro Otani, who previously directed the live-action Black Butler and NANA, is back to helm the movie from a script written by Kumiko Motoyama. The soundtrack is once again being composed by Moe Hyga (If My Favorite Pop Idol Made it to the Budokan, I Would Die anime).
