KanColle Season 2 Anime’s 6th Episode Delayed to January 19 2023

The sixth episode of the Kan Colle anime has been postponed until January 19, according to the anime’s official website, KanColle: Itsuka Ano Umi de (Kan Colle Season 2: Let’s Meet at Sea). The website remained mum about the postponement of the broadcast.

The fourth episode of the anime was initially delayed from November 24 to December 15 because of “production issues.” On Thursday, the fifth episode was released.

On November 3, the animation had its Japanese debut. The show is being streamed live on Crunchyroll.

The creators deliberately sought to heighten the quality by delivering a more compact tale with fewer episodes, hence the anime would only have eight episodes (instead of the typical one cours television anime length of 11–13 episodes).

Saki Fujita, Yumi Tanabe, Aya Suzaki, Yui Horie, Iori Nomizu, Yui Ogura, Risa Taneda, Kozue Hayasaka, Wakana Miyakawa, Mana Komatsu, Ayana Taketatsu, Yuki Yamada, and Nao Tyama are among the voice actors for the anime.

The animation at ENGI is being directed by Kazuya Miura (DRAMAtical Murder, Full Dive, Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!). The anime’s screenplays are being written by Kensuke Tanaka, the franchise’s first writer. The characters are being created by Chika Nmi. The music is being written by Kaori Ohkoshi, while Yuichi Imaizumi is in charge of the sound.

The anime is based on a 2013 online browser game, and it takes place in a future when humans no longer have control over the oceans. The Abyssal navy is the menace that has taken over the seas. Kan-Musu (Fleet Females), girls who have the spirit of former navy warships, are the only ones who can defeat this menace.

In January 2015, the first 12-episode TV anime series debuted. Crunchyroll streamed the show as it aired in Japan. In June 2017, Funimation published the show on DVD and Blu-ray Disc with English dub and subtitles.

The Kantai Collection (KanColle) movie premiered in Japan in November 2016 and by March 2017 had made 560 million yen (about $5 million USD).
