Free! – Haruka from the anime series Iwatobi Swim Club is a fierce competitor who even made it to the world’s largest swimming competition. The anime films Free!-the Final Stroke-the First Volume and Free!-the Final Stroke-the Second Volume, which were published in September 2021 and April 2022, respectively, recounted that tale.
Although they were first released independently, the two Free!-the Final Stroke anime movies will be rereleased on January 27 at 32 cinemas all throughout Japan for a brief two-week run. A video of Haruka saying that he just “swims free” was produced to mark the screenings.
On April 22, 2022, Free!-the Final Stroke-The Second Volume was released in Japanese cinemas. It earned more than 910 million yen (US$6.89 million) at the box office, making it the franchise’s highest-earning movie.
