The official website for the Fafner in the Azure anime franchise has uploaded a 100-second PV for the series’ brand-new spin-off episode, Fafner in the Azure: BEHIND THE LINE, not long after the exclusive early screening event on Tuesday at the Marunouchi Piccadilly theatre in Tokyo.
The clip debuts “Start again,” an angela song that serves as the episode’s theme tune. Since the series’ debut TV anime aired in 2004, the two-person group has written the franchise’s theme music. The song is scheduled for digital release on January 20, 2023.
On January 20, 2023, a tranquil spin-off episode from the 2015 television series Fafner Exodus and the 2010 movie Azure: Heaven and Earth will be shown in theatres in Japan.

The “Chibi chara tiny acrylic plate” (total 13 varieties) will be given out at random to moviegoers for three weeks starting on January 20, 2023, the first day of showing.
