Dai Shiina’s Kagayakeru Hoshi Manga Mini-Series Ends in February

The Shining Star (Kagayakeru Hoshi) manga mini-series by manga author Dai Shiina will come to an end on February 3rd, according to the fourth edition of this year’s Hana to Yume magazine from Hakusensha.
On December 20, Shiina began the manga miniseries in Hana to Yume.

An ordinary girl who was born into a family of internationally renowned performers is the subject of the manga as she attempts to become a star in her own right in the glittering world of entertainment.

In 2009 and 2011, Shiina published two one-shots for the manga Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii in Hana to Yume. In 2012, the whole series debuted in the same publication. May 2020 saw the conclusion of the series.

A television anime adaptation of the manga debuted in April 2014. The World Is Still Beautiful was the name of the series that Crunchyroll streamed live as it was broadcast. In 2015, Sentai Filmworks obtained a licence for the anime and made it available on DVD and Blu-ray.

Shiina is also the author of the single-volume Arashi to Doctor manga and the two-volume Fushigi no Maria-kun manga.
