Crunchyroll Debuts Bungo Stray Dogs Season 4 Dub on Wednesday

The first episode of the fourth anime season’s English dub, which is based on the Bungo Stray Dogs manga by Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa, will premiere on Crunchyroll the following day, according to a statement made on Tuesday.
The dub cast consists of:

  • Rampo Edogawa is portrayed by Landon McDonald.
  • Additional Voices, Jamieson Price as Yukichi Fukuzawa
  • Aleks Le plays male secretary Tokio Murakami.
  • David Vincent in the roles of Ochi Fukuchi, Sakunosuke Oda, and Other Voices
  • Adding Erin Yvette as a Voice

The dub team consists of:

  • Director of ADR: Kirstie Simone
  • Producers: Rita Majkut and Jamie Simone
  • David Barr is the sound engineer.
  • Engineer for re-recordings: Ernie Sheesley
  • Jeff Nimoy adapted it into English.
  • James Lafferty is the postproduction supervisor.
  • Managing Producer: Gavin Cooper
  • Animator: Sean Kelley
  • STUDIOPOLIS, Inc., production

On January 4, the animation had its Japanese debut. The anime is being streamed by Crunchyroll as it airs in Japan.

Director Takuya Igarashi, series script supervisor and writer Yoji Enokido, character designer and chief animation director Nobuhiro Arai, and the animation company BONES are among the prominent members of the returning cast. Yto Uemura (Atsushi Nakajima), Mamoru Miyano (Osamu Dazai), Sumire Morohoshi (Kyka Izumi), Kensho Ono (Rynosuke Akutagawa), and Kish Taniyama (Chya Nakahara) are also returning as part of the main cast. “True Story,” the theme song from the anime, is performed by SCREEN mode. Shirushi/°C is the closing song by Luck Life.

From April to June 2016, Crunchyroll streamed the first television anime adaption as it aired in Japan. From October to December 2016, Crunchyroll once again broadcast the second 12-episode season of the anime. The series was made available on home video with an English dub by Funimation and Crunchyroll. The third season of the anime debuted in April 2019, and both Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed it.

In March 2018, Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple, an anime movie, debuted in Japan. Both Crunchyroll and Funimation started streaming the movie in September 2018 and June 2019, respectively.

The English-language manga and book series are published by Yen Press. In December 2012, Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine published the first issue of the continuing manga.
