Chainsaw Man Makima VA Tomori Kusunoki to Release

Voice actress and singer-songwriter Tomori Kusunoki, who is presently portraying Makima in Chainsaw Man, made the announcement at the conclusion of her “Kusunoki Tomori Birthday Live 2022 ‘RINGLEAM'” concert tour on Thursday at Showa Women’s University Hitomi Memorial Hall in Tokyo. Her 23rd birthday fell on the same day.

She made her significant solo singing debut in August 2019 while also working as a well-known anime voice actor (Hazuki Kagimura in Märchen Mädchen, Llenn in Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online, and Setsuna Yuki in Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club). All four of her EPs—including the most recent, “Yarazu no Ame,” which was published in June 2022—appeared in the top 10 of Oricon’s weekly chart.
