The Blue Archive smartphone role-playing game, developed by Yostar and Nexon Games, celebrated its second anniversary on Sunday, and revealed that Blue Archive The Animation, a television anime, has been approved for development. More details will be announced later by the staff.

Nexon explains the plot of the original game as follows:
Academies in the city are separated into several areas and are mostly regarded as autonomous.
The General Student Council serves as the overall governing body for the academies. The General Student Council president mysteriously vanished, and the group’s capacity to rule has since come to an end. In Kivotos, several problems have started to emerge as a result of the president’s lack of leadership.
The Federal Investigation Club, often known as Schale, is contacted by the General Student Council for help in order to avert calamity. In actuality, Schale is the newest club in the area and the last one to get approval before to the president’s departure.
Schale depends on the direction of a Sensei who can assist them in resolving the problems around Kivotos to complete its mission.

Blue Archive was created by the Korean game company and Nexon subsidiary NAT Games (now known as Nexon Games), and Yostar Japan released the game for the first time on February 4 in Japan. The international version was released by Nexon on November 8, 2021. The game is available for free in-app purchases, although they are optional.
The game’s 1.5th anniversary short animation, which aired on July 15, 2022, was already animated by Yostar Pictures. In December, the animation company also released the animated short “lovely day dreamer.”
