Attack on Titan The Final Season Anime’s Conclusion to Air in 2 Parts With 1st Part on March 3
The anime Attack on Titan: The Final Season Kanketsu-hen (Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 3) will broadcast in two parts, according to an NHK announcement on Tuesday. The first instalment will be broadcast on March 3 at 24:25 (effectively, March 4 at 12:25 a.m.), while the second instalment will be shown later in 2023. The duration of each part has not been verified by NHK, however the fact that the March 3 broadcast is listed as a “special broadcast” suggests that each part may be an anime special rather than a number of episodes.

On NHK, a special seven-part animation anthology will be shown over three nights beginning on February 25.
A total of 16 episodes of the anime Attack on Titan: The Final Season were shown starting in December 2020 on NHK. The anime was available for streaming on Funimation and Crunchyroll. The anime started airing on Adult Swim’s Toonami block in January 2021, while Funimation started streaming an English version in the same month.
Titan: The Attack On January 9, the NHK General channel broadcast the first episode of The Final Season Part 2 (episode 76), which ran for 12 episodes. The second episode was streamed by Crunchyroll and Funimation as it aired in Japan.
In April 2013, the first television anime season debuted, and in April 2017, the second season did the same. The third season’s second half debuted in April 2019, with the first half premiering in July 2018.
The original Attack on Titan manga by Hajime Isayama debuted in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shnen Magazine in 2009, and it ran until April 2021. The 34th and last volume of the manga was published in June 2021. The manga was published in English both online and physically by Kodansha USA Publishing, and the 34th volume was made available in October 2021.
