Ani-One Asia Streams Sorcerous Stabber Orphen Season 3 Anime
The third season of the new television anime adaptation of Yoshinobu Akita’s Sorcerous Stabber Orphen (Majutsushi Orphen Haguretabi) light book series will be available on Ani-One Asia’s website starting on Monday. On Wednesday at 8:30 PM GMT +8, the stream will make its premiere.
On Wednesday, the series will also have its Japanese debut.
Daisuke Ono as Ed, Shiki Aoki as Lottecia, Junya Enoki as Ryan, Takuya Eguchi as Halpert, Taiten Kusunoki as Damian, and Aina Aiba as Winona are additional new cast members for the third season.
The opening theme song, “Hysteric Caravan,” was written, produced, and sung by Orphen’s voice actor Showtaro Morikubo, while the closing theme song, “Fantastic Partner,” was performed by Dortin’s voice actress Mai Fuchigami.
The first season had 13 episodes when it concluded in January 2020. The anime was broadcast live by Ani-One Asia as it aired in Japan. In January 2021, the second season made its debut. Once again, Ani-One Asia broadcast the show live. Majutsushi Orphen Haguretabi: Seiiki-hen (Sanctuary Arc), the title of the fourth season of the anime, will debut in April.
The books are being published digitally by J-Novel Club under a licence. According to the business, the story’s opening is as follows:
Orphen is a former sorcerer who left the esteemed Tower of Fangs. He has arrived at the thriving city of Totokanta on his quest to rescue Azalie, a young woman he looked up to as a sister. For the first time in five years, they are reunited here. However, what really caused her hideous change, and what mysteries are concealed by the Sword of Baldanders…?
The light novel series was started by Akita in 1994 with artwork by Yya Kusaka. The 25th anniversary of the series is being celebrated with the new anime. In December 2019, Akita released a brand-new volume in the series—the first new one in the light novel series in four years. January 2021 saw the shipment of a fresh volume.
