Alice in Borderland, Zom 100’s Haro Aso Launches
On Sunday, manga author Haro Aso revealed that he, Mano Sakamoto, and Tatsunari Iota had just published Sex-chan on the Comic Cmoa website. Manga artist Sakamoto does the art, while Aso creates the storyboards. The original work was done by Iota. The online comic is published by DMM’s Gigatoon Studio. The manga offers a comprehensive account of women’s sexual life. Fumie, a woman whose number of partners has decreased over time while leading an active and unrestricted sex life, is the subject of the manga’s first tale. To discover companions, she has begun using dating applications.
2010 saw the start of Aso’s Alice in Borderland (Imawa no Kuni no Alice) manga serialisation in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday S (formerly Shnen Sunday Ch) publication. As the series began its last narrative arc in March 2015, it was moved to Weekly Shonen Sunday. After the manga’s March 2016 conclusion, Shogakukan released 18 collected book volumes. Original video animation (OVA) episodes were distributed with the manga’s 12th, 13th, and 14th volumes. The OVAs are streaming on HIDIVE.
In December 2021, Netflix released the first season of the manga-to-live-action series adaption. On December 22, the second season of Netflix made its global premiere.
On August 5, Shir Yoshida and Aso announced the conclusion of their Noyu Girl (Natural Hot Spring Girl) manga.
A live-action movie based on Aso and Kotaro Takata’s comic Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead (Zom 100: Zombie ni Naru Made ni Shitai 100 no Koto) will premiere on Netflix in 2023.
