Aharen-san wa Hakarenai Manga Enters Final Arc

The 158th chapter of Asato Mizu’s romantic comedy manga Aharen-san wa Hakarenai (Aharen Is Indecipherable), which also marks the beginning of the manga’s last arc, was released on Sunday via Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service.

In January 2017, Mizu debuted the comic on Shonen Jump+. In Japan, Shueisha released the first volume of the manga’s compilation book in August 2017 and the fifteenth volume on October 4.

The “indecipherable” everyday existence of short, reserved Reina Aharen and Raid, who sits next to her in class, is the subject of the adolescent love comedy. Raid first detected considerable space between the two of them since Aharen is not very skilled at determining distances between individuals (or personal boundaries). The space between them then suddenly became uncomfortably near when Raid picked up the eraser that Aharen had dropped one day. Aharen is just unpredictable, ranging from “far too far away” to “much too near.”

The television anime version of the manga debuted on April 1 on the Animeism block. The anime was shown live by Crunchyroll, which is simultaneously streaming the English dub.
